Arch City Media: St. Louis Lions WPSL Continues Point Push With 5-0 Duke Over KC Courage

(COTTLEVILLE, MO) The St. Louis Lions women’s outdoor soccer franchise displayed their most ferocious offensive attack this season with Sunday’s 5-0 win over KC Courage at Tony Glavin Soccer Complex.

The Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) match featured a pair of goals each from midfielder Cristina Rodriguez and forward Mackenzie Rief while goalie Olivia Silverman recorded her third shutout of the Lions’ inaugural campaign.

Sunday’s result added three points to St. Louis’ current record of 2-1-3 for nine points overall and extended the team’s point-scoring streak to five straight matches.
