Allison Verville and Stacie Muehling receiving All Midwest Regional Honors!

St. Louis – Senior midfielder Allison Verville (Edwards, Ill./Dunlap) from the Maryville University women's soccer team was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Regional first team this past week as voted on by the association. Sophomore Stacie Muehling (St. Peters, Mo./Ft. Zumwalt South) was also honored by the group by being named to the All-Midwest Regional third team.
 
Verville played in all 17 games for the Saints while earning starts in all the matches. She finished her senior year with a team-high seven assists and was tied for fourth on the team with seven points. She had 28 shots on the with 13 of those being on frame for a .464 shot on goal percentage. Verville also garnered Great Lakes Valley Conference first team honors and she was named to the CoSida Academic All-District list this past fall.
 
Muehling was a regular on defense for the Saints as she saw action in all 17 games for Maryville while starting in all of the matches. She finished second on the team in goals with four and added an assist on the season. Muehling finished third on the team in points with nine and had 10 shots on the year with nine of those being on frame for a .900 shot on goal percentage.
